The torch is basically used to see better when getting into the subfloors of houses that are built with basements, and when getting up into roof boards to make sure that those areas are clear from termite and pest activity. If Alan and the Conquer Termites Northside team detects termites activity though, the operation will begin to rid your house of termite pressure. The LED torch, in particular, made the equipment bag lighter compared to bringing a torch powered by four heavy D batteries. Plus, an LED torch is much brighter, and would serve a longer time compared to its heavy duty battery-powered predecessor. The torch is usually lighted on one side of the wall to highlight any deformations in the timber. When termites get into timbers, they eat through the wood works and leave ripples underneath the layers of paint. A veneer of paint may still be present in some timber walls, but further investigation may reveal that termites may have eaten through all of it. Believe it or not, but termites even get through hard wood. Are you suspecting termite activity in your own home? Now is a better time as any to call Conquer Termites Northside.
