Conquer Termites has a first-class reputation for customer care.

This is in no small way a result of the passion and commitment of Kuy Rider. Since her administrative entrance to the pest control industry in July 2010 with Scientific Pest Management followed by a maternity coverage position with Cure All Pest Control and then joining Conquer Termites in 2014, she has risen in the ranks to now be the General Manager at Conquer Termites Northside and recently named a finalist for the Professional Women in Australia Pest Management Excellence Awards. This is the third straight year that she joined the ranks of this elite group.

Since her joining the Conquer Termites team she has shone for her outstanding customer service and remarkable calm under fire, for no business can operate without complaint and it seems that she takes it in her stride and sees to “what needs to be done” to lift the situation to satisfaction. No wonder she was appointed General Manager at Conquer Termites Northside in 2019.

It has not stopped there. Kuy’s commitment to knowledge and the industry she is so passionate about has her fully qualified as one of just a handful of licensed female pest managers. There is no question that this comes in handy as she swaps headset for PPE and wades into the real business of pest control and termite protection when required.

Kuy says, “It’s funny to see the reaction of some people when a woman turns up to their pest control job. It’s not something I do every day, but I believe in hands-on management to show the rest of the team that I am more than informed about their work, I am willing to DO the work.”
