Termite Treatments in Ferny Grove - Our Methods

Recently, we spoke with a customer from Ferny Grove. This customer was concerned that their home was showing signs of termites. We arranged to send a Conquer Termites Northside technician out as soon as possible, to assess the situation.

Getting right to it, there are three methods that our technicians use - foam treatments, dusting treatments and a baiting program.

With foam treatments, the foam sprays on wet, and once dry - it stays in place. This method works particularly well to fill voids in wall spaces or similar areas. And with the poisonous foam staying in place, that means if a new termite comes through the area, it will carry the poison back to the nest. The poison will then get passed through the new nest at a rapid rate.

The next treatment option is known as dusting. With this type, our technicians drill small holes into the working areas of the termites. Then, those holes will be filled by hand with Termidor Dust. The poisonous dust will attach itself to the bodies of the termites and, similar to the foam, it will be carried back to the nest.

The last option our Conquer Termites Northside technicians use is a baiting program. This one involves us leaving a baiting station above ground and as close to a termite colony as possible. The baiting station is filled with a laced bait designed to inhibit their growth. The termites, again, will carry this bait back to their colonies without even realising it's a poison.
