What to do about Cockroaches with Alan Ferguson

Cockroaches are horrors in the house nobody likes to see, but they are most often horrors we made ourselves in our homes. Alan says that having cockroaches at home is usually an indicator that there is food lying out in the open somewhere and these pests have feasted on it. Then they tend to set up hubs within the walls where they thrive, and if they are not stopped they may transmit diseases. Alan suggests that we  minimize the food that is out in the open which the pest could feast on, or minimize the space where they could develop a hub and live in. This problem can also be solved by turning to products that you can get from your local hardware store, but there are some products out there that use chemicals that are not human or pet-friendly.
