Seeing termite activity in a tree stump in your yard should be considered a very alarming early warning that needs your immediate attention. What's really happening inside is the non-stop expansion of the termite colony. Termites tend to build and expand their numbers on the roots of cut-down trees or tree stumps. Once they've exhausted that tree stump as their main resource, they're going to look for another. With your home nearby, it could be the next tree stump.

Using a "borescope"; a camera that runs through a flexible lens, Alan shows how termites can thrive in the spaces we can't normally get to. Termites can grow their colonies, not just in tree stumps, but on spaces we can't usually get to as well like the spaces within walls, a small opening under the concrete, or in the ceiling just to name a few. The main thing termites do is turn wood into dust, and it could bring catastrophic danger to your home.
